Remarks by Gary Hebbard: "Built in 1945, this aircraft was first registered to Eldorado Mining & Refining, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in 1964 it was registered to Rainy Lake Airways, Fort Francis, Ontario. Subsequently it was registered to at least sixteen different owners before it was finally deregistered October 17, 2019.

The last owner, Dale Maedel of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, had the aircraft for less than twelve weeks, as it had been registered to him on July 18, 2019.

The aircraft was pictured while registered to 5243573 Manitoba Ltd., July 7, 2015 to November 13, 2018."
