01/31/2011. Raj Hamsa was founded by Frenchman Joel Koechlin in 1980, at Auroville, Pondicherry, India, presently the company is situated in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The side-by-side two-seat X-Air microlight was launched in 1993, and since over 1,300 have been produced.
