Meyer Ava Bond

12/29/2014. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This aircraft is a hybrid and started as an Avid Flyer C and has been heavily modified. The modifications include Kitfox wings and control mixer, a 16 in (40.64 cm) longer and 4 in (10.16 cm) wider fuselage, an Airedale tail unit with balanced rudder, spring landing gear, revised engine-cowling and many more details. The designation Ava Bond refers to its origins of Avid Flyer and Piper Vagabond, whose plans supplied many of the modifications. On March 3, 2011, David A. Meyer of Merrill, Wisconsin, USA, registered the aircraft which first flew in 2012 and received its CofA on July 26, 2012.
