04/19/2007. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This was the 52nd 757 built and it made its first flight on January 25, 1985. It was delivered to British Airways as a Model 757-236 on February 14, 1985, registered G-BIKO and named "Harlech Castle". Withdrawn from use in October 2000, it passed through two leasing companies in 2002. Converted to a Model 757-236F freighter at Mobile, Alabama, USA, in April 2003, it was leased to the British carrier DHL Air on April 23, 2003 and, as of this date, is still in use by that airline." |
