05/15/2007. This single-seat advanced aerobatic aircraft was conceived in the late
sixties by the then Swiss aerobatic champion Arnold Wagner. In
September 1969, design started by Wolf Hirth GmbH at Kirchheim in
Germany, under supervision of Prof. Eppler of the Technische
Hochschule Stuttgart. Construction began in December and the first
flight was achieved on April 16, 1970. |
