Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This type was designed by Mark Brown and production of a kit for amateur construction was started by Aero Designs in 1985, subsequently production was taken over by Skystar Aircraft, in 1999 by Pulsar Aircraft. In 2005 all aircraft production was transferred to Ilopango, El Salvador.

It can be built as a tri-gear or as a tail-dragger, and several engine types can be fitted. G-BVSF was built by Robert and Stanley Freestone and it was first flown in 1997."
