Kronk P-51 Mustang

11/15/2014. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This 80% P-51 Mustang replica was built from scratch by Terry Kronk of Toowoomba, Queensland. Powerplant was a supercharged 385-405 hp General Motors GM LS6 eight-cylinder automotive V-engine. Kronk was killed in this aircraft on November 3, 2012, when it crashed shortly after takeoff from Emu Gully. Reportedly the cause of the crash was mechanical failure."
