07/03/2005. Remarks by John Hopton: "Built at Newtownards, Northern Ireland, in 1946 and registered G-AJKG. In July 1953 it was sold to Australia and in August registered to Lord Casey of Berwick, a former Governor General of Australia. Aircraft was grounded in 1962 and displayed at motor wrecker's yard in Ringwood, Victoria.
Purchased by Gil Johnston in September, 1965, and since on loan to Moorabbin Air Museum till donated to the museum in 1982. This photo was taken after rebuild for display in a shopping center, and has since been returned to the AARG (Australian Aircraft Restoration Group) Moorabbin Air Museum and stored dismantled."
