07/03/2005. Remarks by John Hopton: "This aircraft was the first of only 2 built, intended for Dominion Airways it was initially registered in New Zealand as ZK-ABW. It was written off when it landed in rough seas and drifted on to rocks near Currie, King Island, Tasmania, on May 14, 1936."
