05/15/2006. Remarks by John Hopton: "Built for the USAAF as 44-13293, this was the only '-NA' P-51 variant in Australia, and the only camouflaged Mustang on charge to the RAAF. It was acquired as a production comparison aircraft for testing against local construction. It was also used in CAC's CA-15 program and was scrapped on October 8, 1951.
