03/31/2012. Remarks by
Johan Visschedijk: "Built in 1920, this diminutive homebuilt single-seat 12 ft (3.66 m) equal-span biplane was powered by a 15.2 hp Indian engine. Weighing 360 lb (164 kg) the aircraft achieved 75 mph (121 kmh), by with its 84 sq.ft (7.80 sq.m) it had a very small aspect ratio. The tail surfaces were made of plain sheets of plywood; eventually it was re-engined with an 18 hp Harley-Davidson motor-cycle engine in a
restyled nose and named 'Hummer'."
