02/28/2006. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This is the 388th DC-10 built and was delivered to the Ivory Coast airline Air Afrique on August 10, 1979 registered TU-TAN. On February 23, 1995, it was sold to a French company and reregistered F-GTBD; it was immediately leased it to AOM French Airline of Orly Airport, Paris, France. It was sub-leased to the Malaysian Airline System between May and June 20, 1995 and then sub-leased to Garuda Indonesian Airways between May and June 1996. On July 31, 2001, it was returned to its owner and stored at Garons Airport, Nimes, France, in August 2001 until leased to the French airline Sud Airlines in January 2004."
