10/31/2007. This aircraft was built for the USN in 1948 as an AD-4NA, BuNo. 126922. In 1960 it was delivered to the French AF, s/n 42, while on February 8, 1976 it was transferred to the Gabonaise AF. In 1985 it was struck off charge and sold to France where it was registered as F-AZED on August 27, 1986. On June 7, 1993 it was registered in the UK as G-RAID, being reregistered to G-RADR October 30, 2003, and currently marked as USN 26922, AK-204, VA-176, USS Intrepid.
