01/31/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Nicknamed "Whispering Giant" the type was the first long-range turbo-prop powered transport aircraft. Delivered to BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corporation) January 1, 1959, it was later operated by British Eagle International Airlines (named Ajax), Monarch Airlines, and Invicta Airlines. It made its last flight when delivered to the Imperial War Museum on June 29, 1975."
