02/28/2008. The aircraft was delivered to the USAAF, s/n 42-68784, on May 18, 1943. Withdrawn from use on January 8, 1945, it was sold to ABA of Sweden, named Uven and registered as SE-BAU on October 19, 1945, when ABA became part of SAS on August 1, 1948, the aircraft was renamed Ubbe Viking. On February 16, 1951, the aircraft was registered as F-OAIF to the French airline Cie Aérienne de Transports Indochinoise. From April 20, 1955, it was registered in the UK to the following operators: British United Island Airways British Island Airways Morton Air Services Air Anglia Air Freight Skyways Cargo. On July 20, 1977 it was registered as ET-AGR to Ethiopian Air Lines, while being operated by RRC Air Services. It was destroyed at Jiggiga Airfield, Ethiopia during an air raid on August 12, 1977.
