05/31/2008. Manufactured by Short Bros. & Harland, WH904 was completed in late 1953 as a B.Mk.2 and was delivered to RAF No. 207 Squadron at RAF Marham on February 8, 1954.

Fitted with a elongated nose housing the Airborne Interception (AI) Radar and Pilot's Attack Sight System as used on the Gloster Javelin, it was one of nine B.Mk.2s converted by Boulton & Paul to a T.Mk.11 in the late 1950s. To train Fighter Command pilots and navigators in the use of AI radar, the T.Mk.11 could seat four crew, pilot and navigator instructors and pilot and navigator trainees. It flew with 228 Operational Conversion Unit at RAF Leeming before it joined the Target Facilities Squadron at RAF West Raynham, that became No. 85 Squadron and transferred to RAF Binbrook in 1963.

In the late six-ties the AI radar was removed and the type was redesignated T.Mk.19, it served again with No. 85 Squadron. Later is transferred to No. 7 Squadron at RAF St. Mawgen, being stored in 1979 and sold to British Aerospace in 1980. In 1985 it was donated to the Newark Air Museum, Nottinghamshire where it is preserved, although fitted with the cockpit from a B.Mk.2, WH651.
