09/30/2006. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "In 1978, this aircraft was assigned to Attack Squadron One Hundred Twenty Two (VA-122) which was based at NAS Lemoore, California, near Fresno. It was assigned to Commander Light Attack Wing, Pacific (COMLATWINGPAC) and tasked with fleet replacement training in the A-7. The squadron received its first TA-7C in 1978."
