Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Built for the RCAF under s/n 23285, this aircraft came on the Canadian register as CF-BKG, registered to Maritime Aircraft Repair & Overhaul, Moncton, New Brunswick. Subsequently is was exported to the USA and registered to Fighter Imports Inc., Chino, California, as N8686D in 1973. It was reregistered N87FS when it was sold to Flight Systems, Inc., at Mojave, in 1977, and in June 1982 it was reregistered N92FS when the company was renamed Tracor Flight Systems Inc. Since September 2001 it is registered to Pacific Coast Aero and Engine Parts.
08/17/2002. Remarks by Phil Juvet: "Most or all of the Sabres that had Flight Systems, Inc. were RCAF Sabres. They were trucked in and converted to targets or drones. Some were retained as chase aircraft for a while."
