North American NA-235 QF-100D Super Sabre

05/31/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Produced as an F-100D-70-NA this aircraft was flown by the 522 TFS of the 27 TFW at Cannon AFB, and by the 107 TFS of the Michigan ANG before it went into storage at MASDC on March 15, 1979. In 1987 it was converted by Flight Systems at Mojave, California, into a QF-100D unmanned target drone, coded AD-291.

It made its last take off from Holloman AFB, New Mexico, on February 22, 1988. It was damage over White Sands Missile Range by an AIM-120 missile fired from an F-15, and made a forced landing at the former Northrup Strip, now known as White Sands Space Harbor. It is on display at the Planes of Fame, Chino, California."
