03/31/2013. This is the fourth pre-series aircraft that first flew on January 8, 1979, serialed MM588 and coded X-588 (site files). Eventually it was delivered for service with the Italian AF, reserialed MM7001 and coded RS-01. Presently it is preserved at the Museo Storico dell'Aeronautica Militare at Vigna di Valle, Italy.
