09/30/2013. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Ordered by Eastern Air Lines, this aircraft was delivered to the airline on November 12, 1952, registered as N486A. When it was sold to Mohawk Airlines on September 7, 1962, it was reregistered N472M. Since it was owned/operated by the following companies:

Bussines Aircraft, January 1969

While with Coones Flying Service it was converted to a crop sprayer, as seen above, and apparently mispainted as N472N. In 1987 it was withdrawn from use and stored at Douglas, Arizona, subsequently it was used for spares and broken up.

For marketing reasons the model 404 is also known as 4-O-4 or Four-O-Four."
