Piloted by Dick Rutan and Jeana Yeager, it left Edwards AFB, California, USA, on December 14, 1986 and, after covering 24,986.67 mls (40,212.14 km) in 216 hours, 3 minutes and 44 seconds, landed back there on December 23, 1986."
