Remarks by Bernhard Klein: "Photo shows the B-17 known as 'Dreamboat' modified under the direction of Major Robert Reed by the 92nd BG under 'Project Reed' which involved replacement of the waist guns with a B-26 mid upper turret, and installation of B-24 front and rear turrets. The bombardier position was relocated to a 'cupola' under the front section."
