02/28/2007. Remarks by Bernhard Klein: "Designed by Ing. Giacomo Mosso. Photo depicts the one and only prototype built. It was not constructed to a specification of the RA (Règia Aeronautica = Royal Air Force) thus no MM (Matricola Militare = Military Matriculation, military serial) was issued. First flight by Fausto Moroni took place from Cameri on October 16, 1940.
Sometimes referred to as Fiat-CANSA FC.12 as Fiat was the parent company and the power plant was a 600 hp Fiat A.30 RA bis."
