07/07/2007. The 221 was the first of the original two Fairey F.D.2's completely rebuilt as an aerodynamic research aircraft. It was flown for the first time on May 1, 1964, the 273rd and last was made on June 9, 9173, total flight time was 139.75 hr. It is presently stored at the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton. |
