04/30/2008. Remarks by Bernhard Klein: "The two-seat Sikorsky X2 Technology Demonstrator was shown for the first time to the public at the Heli-Expo. The aircraft is fitted with contra-rotating coaxial rotors, and an "aero propeller" instead of a tail rotor, and which by the time this is written has amassed 20 hours ground runs. First flight was promised to happen some time after the show." |
