04/30/2008. Remarks by Bernhard Klein: "This amateur built aircraft was initially a D.94, powered by a 35 hp Minie. It was registered in August 1950 as F-WDHQ, a temporary registration; after it received its CofA it was registered as F-PDHQ. The pictured aircraft belonged to the Aero Club Club of Bourg-en-Bresse, France. It crashed in September 1988, by 1995 it had been rebuild, only to crash again in December of the same year. At some point in its active live the Minie engine was replaced by a Volkswagen engine, making it a D.92." |
