01/31/2009. The four-seat TT.Mk.39 shore-based high-speed target tug was the final British version of the Mosquito. Twenty-four B.Mk.XVI bombers were converted to RN Specification Q.19/45 by General Aircraft of Feltham, Middlesex, they replaced the Miles Monitors from 1948. Modifications included an extended and heavily glazed nose, addition of a dorsal cupola and installation of winch gear. PF576 was struck off charge on March 26, 1952.
