01/31/2009. Remarks by Bernhard Klein: "In 1955, Owen Billman, one of the founders of the Empire State Aerosciences Museum, constructed the B.11 out of a Piper J-2 fuselage and Aeronca K wings. In January 1958 the original 55 hp Lycoming O-145-A2 engine was replaced by an 80 hp Continental A80-8 and model was changed to B.11C."
