No. 9349. Hoops Canard
10/31/2009. Remarks by
Walter van Tilborg: "The Canard was an original homebuilt aircraft with a canard wing configuration and it was designed and built by Howard Hoops of Anaheim, California, USA. The single-seat sport aircraft featured a steel tube, wood and fabric construction and work started around 1968 or 1969. The construction took some 3 years and it was powered by one 65 hp Lycoming O-145-B2 engine. It remained unconfirmed that the aircraft was ever flown.
