08/31/2010. Remarks by Walter van Tilborg: "The two-seat L 7 was the first high wing design of Émile Lucas and like most of his earlier designs, was available for amateur construction. The first L 7 was constructed by Jean Ferraguti of Veigne, France and registered as F-PFMJ (c/n 1) it was flown on November 15, 1996 and this aircraft was powered by one 108 hp Lycoming
O-235-L2C. The L 7 featured fixed main wheels, a retractable nose wheel and a very large cabin door, allowing the carriage of large and of outsize items.
F-PPJG was completed by Pierre Portier of Les Mureaux as an L 7-160 in 2005. Powered by one 160 hp Lycoming O-320, it also differed in having an additional (third) side window."
