03/31/2009. Prototype of the popular King Air series of the turboprop-powered business aircraft, N5690K was first flown on November 21, 1963, and gained the FAA Type Certificate on May 27, 1964. Subsequently the aircraft was registered to Olive Ann Beech, as N925X, and later as N26CH. In 1994, after a storage of 10 years, the aircraft was refurbished and registered again as N925X.
