06/30/2012. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Originally build for the USAAF as a Beech 18 AT-7 or AT-11, this aircraft was remanufactured in 1951 as a model D18S C-45G, USAF s/n 51-11628. Subsequently it came on the civil register as N9823Z, and was converted into a Tri-gear 18 by Volpar Inc. of Los Angeles, California. Later it went to a French territory in Africa, registered as F-OBYL, eventually it was registered as TR-LKO to Transgabon in Gabon, where it was written off."
