04/19/2007. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This was the 665th 747 built and it made its first flight on December 17, 1986 registered N6046P. It was delivered to the German airline Lufthansa on February 17, 1987 registered D-ABZH. In January 2002, it was withdrawn from use and stored at Pinal Airpark, Marana, Arizona, USA and was delivered to the Jordanian airline Air Universal in July 2004 and registered JY-AUB. Subsequently, it was leased to the Iran Air and Pakistan International Airlines. In May 2006, Hellenic Imperial Airways of Athens, Greece, was formed as a new offspring of Air Universal and this new airline is to take delivery of this aircraft in June 2007." |
