03/31/2008. As indicated by the "40th" at the wheel spats, this aircraft was flown over forty years ago, to be exact: July 9, 1966. Design of this two-seat homebuilt started in 1963 by Robert Bushby based on the single-seat Midget Mustang. The prototype Mustang was first flown on July 9, 1966. II, registered as N1117M, as it still is as of this day. |
