Euler Kampfdoppeldecker (Fighting Biplane)

02/28/2009. Remarks by Kees Kort: "Shown is a 1914 biplane development of August Euler with machine guns. Euler held a German Patent No. 248.001 dated July 24, 1910 for a flying machine with a machine gun. This experimental shows a moveable gun position where shooting was possible 360°. Further can be seen a mockup of a fixed machine gun in the nose. Another version had a moveable machine gun position in the nose. The experiments of Euler made no impression on the German top brass."
