04/30/2009. Originally produced as a P-39-5-BE, this aircraft was converted into the first TP-39Q two-seat trainer by extending the fuselage forward to include a seat instead of the armament. The image has been heavily retouched as the original shows the tail code 220024, and a large building in front of which the aircraft is parked. Later this aircraft also carried the code
V-99 on the forward fuselage.
