Pendergast PP108

12/31/2016. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "The fully aerobatic PP108 has been designed by Peter William Pendergast using design features from the Edge 540, Extra 300 and DR107 One Design. The fuselage is of chrome-moly tubular construction with carbon fiber panels covering the front fuselage, the rear fuselage is fabric covered. The wings are of wooden construction covered with plywood and finished with glass fiber. Power plant is a modified Lycoming AEIO-540 six-cylinder, air-cooled horizontally-opposed engine, modified by Sky Dynamics, driving a Whirlwind 400AC propeller.

It took Pendergast two and a half years to complete the one-of-a-kind aircraft, it was registered February 29, 2016 and subsequently flown. Pendergast also built three Van's aircraft kits, he is a technical counselor for the SAAA (Sport Aircraft Association of Australia) and has been an instructor with Autogyro Australia."
