This aircraft was delivered to the USAAF as a C-47B-30-DK, s/n 44-76770 on April 21, 1945 and transferred to the RAAF on May 7, 1945 with s/n A65-98 and radio call sign "VHRFO", later "VMHJZ" was used. On July 3, 1989 it was registered as VH-JXD while at the RAAF Museum at Point Cook, Victoria. On June 20, 1990 it was registered as VH-OVM to Shortstop Jet Charter, and still is as of this day. |
