09/30/2007. This aircraft was manufactured as a PV-1 under the USN BuNo. 33369, and immediately transferred to the RCAF as a Ventura GR.Mk.V, s/n 2221, on July 17, 1943. It was struck off charge on August 11, 1950 and sold in 1953.

It was first registered in the USA as N1590V, and was converted to an executive transport by Spartan Aircraft, Tulsa, Oklahoma between December 1953 and August 1955. It was modified for aerial seeding after several changes of ownership and reregistered as N159V and N159U.

In 1988 the aircraft was traded to the RAAF Museum to be flown by the RAAF's Historic Flight. It became VH-SFF and was painted as A59-67 of No. 13 Squadron. On November 19, 1996 it made a gear up landing after double engine failure. Currently it is in storage awaiting repair to static display condition.
