01/22/2007. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This Model 404E, the 11th of 60 Model 404Es purchased by Miami, Florida, USA-based Eastern Airlines, was delivered on January 23, 1952 registered N450A. After ten years service on secondary routes, it was sold to Southern Airways, the Atlanta, Georgia-based local service airline, re-registered N419S and used for service in the south central part of the USA. Southern sold the aircraft in 1976 and it passed through a number of companies and individuals until purchased by the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum in April 1991. The aircraft was restored as it appeared while flying with Eastern in 1958 and re-registered N450A. It is currently on display at the museum."
