The 'UC' prefix indicates that this cargo aircraft could accommodate up to eight persons, including pilot, or a cargo weighing no more than 1,400 lb (635 kg). The UC-45F was the final production model of the C-45 line; 42 were completed as photographic F-2B-BHs and 343 were delivered to the USN as JRB-4s."
