02/28/2008. Remarks by Jack McKillop: This aircraft made its first flight on March 26, 1987 registered G-BNIC. It was delivered to Jetstream International Airlines of Erie, Pennsylvania, USA, on June 25, 1987 registered N839JS; it was immediately sold to a bank and leased back to Jetstream. In August 1995, the lease was transferred to Chautauqua Airlines of Indianapolis, Indiana.

The aircraft was sold to Guilford Transportation Industries (renamed Pan Am Systems in March 2006) of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on November 6, 2000 and it is operated by one of its subsidiaries, Boston-Maine Airways. Pan Am Systems owns the Pan Am name and logo so Boston-Maine operates scheduled commuter services under the name Pan Am Clipper Connection.
