02/28/2008. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This aircraft is owned by Kalitta Charters of Ypsilanti, Michigan. On December 13, 2006, the USAF signed a contract with this company to transport the remains of dead US servicemen and women killed overseas from Dover AFB to their final destination. All remains on these charter flights have a military service member to escort them and no additional cargo is carried on the flight. Kalitta maintains four jet aircraft at Dover AFB for these missions." | ||
