02/28/2008. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This is one of 300 aircraft built by the Stearman Aircraft Division of the Boeing Aircraft Company for the RCAF. All were delivered under Lend-Lease requiring the USAAF to order them with a USAAF designation and s/n; this aircraft was designated PT-27-BW, USAAF s/n 42-15667. The RCAF identified it as a Kaydet Mk. I and assigned it serial number FJ806. All were delivered with RCAF markings and serial numbers between February and October 1942.

This aircraft is painted in the markings used by the USAAC/USAAF for Stearman PT-13s and PT-17s up through the summer of 1942. As of this date, the aircraft is registered to Leestown Aviation Stearman, Inc. of Wilmington, Delaware, USA."
