11/30/2010. Produced as a
Lancaster B.Mk.X in February 1945, this aircraft was transferred to England, where it was assigned to No. 405(B) Squadron and coded LQ-Y. It came too late for operations and was returned to Canada on June 17, 1945. It was assigned to No. 664 Wing, Tiger Force, at Greenwood, Nova Scotia. Subsequently it was converted to a Mk.10MR and assigned to No. 404(MR) Squadron and coded AF-A it served until it was struck off charge on May 17, 1963.
