The squadron simulated Soviet tactics and the aircraft wore Soviet camouflage schemes and large nose numbers. 74-1544 eventually was transferred to the USN with a BuNo. similar to the USAF s/n: 741544. It served with VFA-127 and VMFT-401, and by November 2006 it had been transferred to the AMARC.
