04/30/2008. Originally built as a DC-3A-457 C-53D Skytrooper, the aircraft was delivered to the USAAF on July 12, 1943, s/n 42-68834. After WW II it was sold to Eastern Airlines registered as NC86562. From 1952 it was registered as N20W and changed hands twice till it was bought by Dick Folsom of Folsom's Air Service (HBF Inc.) registered as N130Q in 1976. On June 20, 1990 the aircraft was fitted with original Edo 78 floats and on August 28, 1990, the aircraft received its CofA. |
