05/31/2008. Remarks by Lars Opland: "This aircraft was delivered to Delta Airlines on November 25, 1957, registered as N4887C (the sixth of ten ordered by the airline). It was sold to BMR Aviation of California on March 31, 1968, a few weeks later (in May) it was sold to Emerald Shillelagh Air Travel Club. In July 1972 it was sold to C. M. Belew who leased it to Sun's Travel Club in May 1973.

In May 1980 it was sold to T&G Aviation in Arizona and converted to a Tanker, listed as number 33. In early 1998 a two-year was started and T&G Aviation was renamed International Air Response. The refurbished aircraft was finished in the original colours and markings of its first service with Delta Airlines back in 1957. The Delta titles had been removed before it made its second maiden flight on March 26, 2000."
