08/31/2014. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This troop-carrying transport glider captured in Italy and shipped to the USA in 1944 under the Foreign Equipment number "FE-2700". It was rebuilt with parts of other Go 242s and flight tested at Wright AAF, near Dayton, Ohio. Later it received the Allied Technical Intelligence Unit number "T2-2700". It is presumed scrapped at the Park Ridge Depot, Illinois."
